Oyster® Access / EasyNet Software Update
After Initial Setup

The software for the Oyster® Access / EasyNet is continuously being developed. Naturally, ten Haaft has provided your newly purchased Oyster® product with the latest software as of the production date. However, it is strongly recommended to perform a software update immediately after the initial setup. This ensures that your Oyster® internet system benefits from the latest developments and improvements.

The software update is downloaded directly by the Oyster® Access / EasyNet over the internet. This can only work if the system is actually online via LTE or an external Wi-Fi hotspot.

You can easily check if an internet connection is established by looking at the LEDs on the front of the Indoor Unit: If you see three continuously lit LEDs (green / green / green or green / blue / green) on the left side (below the Oyster® logo), then the internet system is online via LTE or Wi-Fi.

Now, a simple press of the “i” button on the front of the Indoor Unit is all it takes to start the update process. During the update, all LEDs will display a special lighting pattern. The entire update process should take no more than 10 minutes.

The update process is complete when the system has performed an automatic restart and the LEDs have returned to their normal lighting pattern.
